The site will also take Styrofoam No. 6 block packaging and cardboard.Items that will be accepted:-- Electronics (TVs, monitors, computers, printers, VCRs, radios, stereos, cellphones, telephones, answering machines, small countertop microwaves)-- Fluorescent bulbs (limit of 20 per business or resident)-- Household batteries-- Mercury items (thermometers, old thermostats, novelty items)-- Holiday迷你倉lightsItems that will not be accepted are:-- Packing peanuts (many mailing service stores will recycle these)-- Bubble wrap-- Food or beverage containers-- Major appliances (county solid-waste facilities accept these for free)-- Automotive batteries.People who have more than 20 electronic devices should call Onsite Electronic Recycling at (209) 234-7994 to make arrangements for bulk collection.It is the first of four planned e-waste recycling events at the Boyd Service Center.Other scheduled events are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 12, July 12 and Oct. 11.Copyright: ___ (c)2014 The Record (Stockton, Calif.)
